This graph shows the immigration to the UK by the date of entry, people numbers on thousands. For the West Indies, India & Pakistan. For the period between 1940 to 1980.

The graph shows a slight increase in the number of people between 1940 to 1950. Between 1950 and 1955 West Indies immigrates roughly increases to less than 20 thousand whereas; India and Pakistan immigration shows a slight increase to nearly 10 thousand in that period of time. From 1960 to 1965 West Indies peak at more than then drop 35 thousand to less than 10 thousand five years later. On the other hand and in the same period India and Pakistan immigrates roughly increases to over 25 thousand then slightly decreases by 5 thousand. Between 1970 to 1980, West Indies slightly increases then roughly decreases to 5 thousand whereas; India and Pakistan went nearly the peak of 35 thousand then roughly shows a decrease of 5 thousand.
In conclusion, from fifties to the last of sixties West Indies had a lot of immigrations to the UK but, from the start of seventies people forgot about it and decided that India and Pakistan are better countries to immigrate.
